Safety Programs

S & K Plumbing is dedicated to a safe working environment for the sake of our employees and the general contractor.  We utilize the services of a safety consultant who visits all of our job sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations.  He will make note of any conditions on the jobsite that might place S & K Plumbing in an unsafe situation.

Additionally, S & K Plumbing provides a safety orientation for all new employees as well as periodical refreshes for all other employees. We also perform pre-employment drug screening as well as random drug testing for existing employees. Our superintendents are required to obtain OSHA certification and provide weekly job box meetings for workers on the jobsite. Most of our foremen are OSHA 30 hour certified.  Additionally, we train our superintendents in topics such as confined space entry, scaffolding, fall protection, risk management, trench safety as well as the operation of equipment (scissor lifts, forklifts, excavators, etc).  We recognize the importance of safety and work hard to make safety a priority on our job sites.
